Mining company Boliden’s Nomination Committee has proposed Victoire de Margerie as a new member of the Board of Directors. The proposal will be presented at the company’s Annual General Meeting on April 23.
Alongside de Margerie’s nomination, all current board members have been proposed for re-election, with Karl-Henrik Sundström recommended to continue as Chairman of the Board.
De Margerie brings extensive experience in the industry. She is currently the Executive Chairman of Rondol Industrie, serves as a Board member and Chairman of the Technology Committee at Verkor, and holds board positions at Ivanhoe Electric and Mines ParisTech.
Further proposals from the Nomination Committee will be disclosed in the formal notice of the Annual General Meeting.
