Atlas Lithium’s Modular Processing Plant Arrives in Brazil, Advancing Lithium Production

Atlas Lithium has successfully received its modular Dense Media Separation (DMS) lithium processing plant at the Port of Santos, Brazil, marking a significant step toward its goal of becoming a key lithium producer in Brazil's Lithium Valley.
The facility, fully owned and paid for by Atlas Lithium, was transported via the cargo vessel Irene's Wisdom (IMO: 9953391), which arrived on March 7, 2025, carrying 141 containers and 10 bulk components from the Port of Durban, South Africa. Two additional containers with spare parts are expected to arrive soon.
Marc Fogassa, Chairman and CEO of Atlas Lithium, described the milestone as transformative, emphasizing that securing operational permits and bringing the plant to Brazil represent two major hurdles overcome on the path to production.
Cutting-Edge Modular Plant Design The processing plant incorporates advanced and sustainable technology, including:
- Compact, Modular Design: Facilitates streamlined transport, installation, and commissioning, accelerating production readiness.
- Reduced Environmental Footprint: Optimized layout minimizes impact while ensuring high efficiency.
- Advanced Water Conservation: Internal recycling systems reduce water consumption compared to traditional plants.
- Sustainable Tailings Management: Dry-stacking technology eliminates the need for tailings dams, enhancing environmental sustainability.
