AMAG’s Supervisory Board Chairman to Step Down in April 2025

Herbert Ortner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at AMAG Austria Metall, will leave his position at the conclusion of the company's 14th Annual General Meeting on April 15, 2025. Ortner, who has served on the Supervisory Board since 2018 and as its Chairman since 2019, cited personal reasons for his decision not to seek re-election.

The company has designated Alessandro Dazza as his successor. Dazza, who joined the Supervisory Board in April 2024, brings experience from various industrial firms and has held management positions in Austria, England, and France. His election as Chairman is set to take place at the constituent Supervisory Board meeting immediately following the Annual General Meeting.

AMAG’s CEO, Helmut Kaufmann, acknowledged Ortner’s role in shaping the company’s strategy and growth, expressing gratitude for his contributions. Ortner, in turn, emphasized the constructive and cooperative nature of his tenure, stating confidence in the company’s continued success under new leadership.
