Hindalco’s Rohit Pathak Appointed to International Copper Association Board

Rohit Pathak, CEO of Copper Business at Hindalco Industries, has been appointed to the Board of Directors at the International Copper Association (ICA), recognizing his leadership and contributions to the global copper industry.

In this role, Pathak will help shape international strategies, focusing on sustainability, industry growth, and best practices in copper production. His expertise in the copper supply chain, from mining to refining, positions him to address market dynamics and environmental sustainability challenges.

As CEO of Hindalco’s Copper Business, Pathak has optimized operations, expanded production capacity, and prioritized sustainability, strengthening Hindalco’s position in the industry. Beyond Hindalco, he has played a key role in industry associations, serving as President of the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) and the Indian Primary Copper Producers Association, where he has championed policy advocacy and innovation.

His appointment to the ICA Board reinforces his status as a thought leader in the copper sector, ensuring continued industry growth and development through innovation and sustainable practices.
