Alkemy Capital Partners with Veolia for Lithium Hydroxide Processing in UK

British investment firm Alkemy Capital Investments plc has signed a partnership agreement with American company Veolia Water Technologies Inc. to establish the first lithium hydroxide processing line at Tees Valley Lithium (TVL) in Teesside, UK.

The partnership will leverage Veolia’s expertise in lithium recycling and advanced artificial intelligence technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize operational risks while maintaining industry standards. Veolia’s involvement expands TVL’s design capabilities, setting new benchmarks for lithium recycling in the UK and Europe.

Veolia will support TVL with Interface Engineering Design (FEED), focusing on modular engineering solutions to meet the increasing demand from the electric vehicle market in the UK and Europe.

Alkemy Capital Investments specializes in lithium processing projects in Northern England, a spodumene conversion project in Western Australia, and graphite extraction for lithium sulfate production. Veolia Water Technologies, headquartered in Plainfield, Illinois, provides services for lithium processing plants, mining industries, and other sectors, promoting a circular economy approach.
