Corcel Exploration Advances Yuma King Copper-Gold Project in Arizona

Corcel Exploration has provided an update on its Yuma King Copper-Gold Project in La Paz County, Arizona. The project spans 3,200 hectares with 515 unpatented federal mining claims in the Ellsworth Mining District, which includes the past-producing Yuma Mine. This mine operated from 1940 to 1963, yielding copper, lead, gold, and silver.

The Yuma King Project is strategically located in a well-established mining region with access to infrastructure, roads, and power. The district hosts over 70 registered historical mines and deposits. Previous drilling programs confirmed significant copper-gold skarn mineralization, with over 12,809 feet of diamond drilling completed across 21 drill holes. Exploration also suggests the potential presence of a deeper copper-molybdenum-gold porphyry system.

Corcel has recently filed an independent NI 43-101 technical report for the Yuma King Property, summarizing historical exploration data and geological interpretations. Moving forward, the company aims to advance near-surface copper-gold skarn targets, investigate deeper porphyry systems, and refine drill targets through geophysical surveys, geochemical sampling, and additional drilling.

Director Jon Ward highlighted the project's expansion potential, emphasizing high-grade copper-gold skarn mineralization and the presence of an untested porphyry system. The Yuma King Project benefits from its location near Phoenix, Arizona, with established infrastructure and access to one of the three copper smelters in the United States, offering strategic advantages for future development.
