Marula Reports First Copper Sales from Kinusi Mine in Tanzania

Marula Mining has confirmed receipt of payments from the initial copper concentrate sales originating from the Kinusi Copper Mine in Tanzania’s Dodoma Region. The mine is operated by Takela Mining Tanzania, a local exploration and mining company.

Sales receipts for the first two trucks—totaling approximately 50 tonnes—have been received, representing part of a 250-tonne trial shipment initiated in March 2025. The copper concentrate prices achieved were in line with the company’s expectations. Deliveries to fulfill the remainder of the trial shipment are ongoing, supported by continued open-pit mining and processing activities at the site.

Takela has also begun preparations for a second shipment of copper concentrate. This shipment is intended for a European commodities group and is part of a broader plan to finalize a long-term offtake agreement. The agreement will cover output from both the current gravity-based processing circuit and future production of copper cathodes through heap leaching and electrowinning processes.

The Kinusi operation marks a step forward in Marula’s regional copper production strategy as it progresses toward establishing a consistent sales pipeline and long-term commercial arrangements.
